To get to know us a bit more check out our videos on our social media! Hi, my name is Spencer. I am a licensed clinical social worker, lucky enough to have my passions and career line up. I have been practicing therapy since 2016, and have mostly worked in dual diagnosis (addiction and mental illness) and trauma residential treatment. I began my work in this helping profession, working with adults with autism and in dual diagnosis and trauma treatment in 2006. I believe that an approach where the client is a part of the treatment planning is crucial. I spend time to build rapport with each client, understand them as an individual, view the world as they do and build an individual plan for them. I strive to be genuine and relatable in therapy, rather than a distant and stiff therapist. I believe vulnerability begets vulnerability.
